After the incredible success of the Iceland Line Dance Festival in 2025, we are excited to welcome dancers from around the world back to Iceland. This time, the event will be even bigger and better in 2027.

In 2025, dancers from across Europe and beyond came together for an unforgettable weekend. It was filled with energy, connection, and a shared passion for line dancing. As a result, the atmosphere, music, and workshops created something truly special. Because of this, it quickly became clear — this is a festival dancers want to return to.

Now, we are building on that success and taking the experience to the next level.

From September 2–4, 2027, the Iceland Line Dance Festival returns to Kópavogur. Once again, the Digranes Sports Hall will be transformed into a world-class dance venue. Here, you can expect a large professional dance floor, high-quality sound and lighting, and an inspiring atmosphere for dancers of all levels.

Featuring World-Renowned Instructor Jo Thompson Szymanski

One of the main highlights of the 2027 festival is the return of Jo Thompson Szymanski. She is one of the most respected and influential names in the global line dance community.

With decades of experience and award-winning choreography, Jo brings exceptional quality to every event. In addition,her teaching style is loved by dancers worldwide. For example, her workshops are known for their musicality, clarity, and strong connection with dancers of all levels.
